Direct characterization: She was a very frail girl who looked as if she had been lost in the rain for years and the rain had washed out the blue from her eyes and the red from her mouth and the yellow from her hair. She was an old photograph dusted from an album, whitened away, and if she spoke at all her voice would be a ghost. Indirect Characterization: But she did not move; rather she let herself be moved only by him and nothing else. But she remembered and stood quietly apart from all of them and watched the patterning windows.
And once, a month ago, she had refused to shower in the school shower rooms, had clutched her hands to her ears and over her head, screaming the water mustn't touch her head. Refer to page 21 of the S. Fill out the chart below.

Write a paragraph about this issue. So, as I started stepping up in situations, like the one Margot was in, I started noticing that once one person takes a stand, other people begin to feel more confident and join as well. I really think that people need to be more individual in some of their decisions though, so that they can do what is right.

In "All Summer in a Day," a group of schoolchildren live on the planet Venus with their families. They are nine years old, and they are eagerly awaiting a momentous occasion. After 5 years of continuous rain, the scientists on Venus have predicted that the sun will come out today for a brief period of time. The children have only seen the sun once in their lives, but they were two years old and they don't remember how it looks or feels. To prepare for the day, they have constantly read about the sun and completed classroom activities, such as writing a poem, about the sun.

“All Summer in a Day” by Ray Bradbury: Text and Study Questions. No one in the class could remember a time when there wasn't rain. “Ready?” “Ready.” “Now?
